The eighteen karat gold ring set with two rows of alternating cushion shaped sapphires and old brilliant-cut diamonds, estimated total diamond weight 1.00 carats, mounted in gold, weight 5.4gm, ring size J./5/49.
Condition Report: Overall in good condition.
Wear commensurate with age. The sapphires of medium blue colour, strong saturation, tested as metamorphic origin (Ceylon type). Under 10x magnification there are abrasions to the stone facets. The old mine-cut diamonds are bright and lively, estimated as J/K/L colour and VS/SI clarity. The yellow metal is unmarked and scratch tests as 18ct gold. Wear to the metal in the form of scuffs and scratches.
